Zach Wilson will not make his return to the Jets on Sunday, nor will Gang Green turn back to Mike White.
They will instead start veteran Joe Flacco at quarterback against the Dolphins, a source confirmed to The Post’s Brian Costello, because Wilson is still not completely recovered from his knee injury.
The Jets brought Flacco back three weeks ago, acquiring the 36-year-old in a trade with the Eagles, who received a conditional sixth-round pick that can become a fifth-rounder based on playing time. Flacco made four starts for the Jets last season, losing all of them. Still, the Jets made the decision based on his experience.
Flacco will be the Jets’ third starting quarterback this season.
